FAQs
Dress Code
What is the dress code?
Semiformal.
For men, that usually means a suit rather than a tux. For women, that usually means a cocktail dress (or its equivalent) rather than a gown.
Furthermore, please keep in mind that the formal ceremony will take place in a church, and that your attire should be appropriate for such a setting.
What are your colors?
Blue and gray.
What is the wedding party wearing?
The bridesmaids will wear blue dresses; the groomsmen gray suits.
Arkansas
What's the weather like in Arkansas in late November?
Northwest Arkansas experiences all four seasons, though they are usually milder than, say, New England. November 25 is late autumn, so there may yet be some foliage.
Typically, the temperature in late November will be somewhere around 50-60 degrees, but can vary widely. Rain is less likely than average this time of year, but it is (of course) entirely possible.
It is extremely unlikely that northwest Arkansas would be affected by a late-season hurricane or early snowstorms.
What's Fayetteville like?
Fayetteville is a city of 75,000 residents (plus some 30,000 students) nestled in the Ozarks' Boston Mountains. It is a college town at its core and radiates outward as alternately residential and industrial. Its unique blend of education, culture, history, and nature has landed it in many "best of" lists.
Fayetteville has a great social scene and nightlife. We recommend you check it out.
Where's the best place to stay?
We recommend Mt. Sequoyah. We have a huge block of rooms there and are using it as home base.
Where's the best place to fly in?
We recommend Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA).
What's the best college bar in town?
We recommend Smoke & Barrel.
How do I get to the venues?
We're working on arranging transportation for the wedding day. We'll have more information shortly.
Will there be parking?
There will be plenty of free parking at St. Joe, Crystal Bridges, and Mt. Sequoyah.
There will not be free parking in downtown Fayetteville. Additionally, many roads will be closed on and around campus on gameday.

- You may not use your phone or camera in church.
- You may not publish any photograph containing artwork without prior written permission from Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?
We recommend that you head over to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art at your earliest convenience. Admission is free and the collection is remarkable. If the weather cooperates, you could also take a walk through one of the many nature trails on the grounds.
The collection will be closed to the public at 6:00 (at which time cocktail service and hors d'oeuvres will begin) and reopened exclusively for our guests from 6:30 to 7:30 (at which time dinner will begin).
"You guys" or "y'all"?
Oh, bless your little hearts. Y'all're too funny.
